My friend Amy and I started a moms group in the area for new moms with kids under 1, and we had our first meetup this week. There were 4 women there, all with little boys: Im excited to get to know them better and for Scott to have playmates! There are more women who have signed up for it, and we are hoping for it to be a nice sized group of tight knit women and kids!
I left Scott with Daddy while I ran to WalMart without telling Dude that I was leaving Scott (scott was napping, I thought he would notice) :) Anyways, its a good thing Dude decided to check Scott's room (just in case) and this is what he found... our cute little guy peeking through the rails!
"Hi dad! Have you come to save me?"
Luckily, we dont have any pictures to document to broken AC or the bug guy... so Ill skip those parts, but I DO have bathtime pics! Since Scott has learned to sit up, he wants to do it everywhere, including the slippery bathtub. He hasnt had a tip-over there yet, but I sure dont let go of him very often.

Wow, what a busy week. Scott is getting big. I love the pic of him peeking through his crib rails. Priceless!!
That's great that you started a baby club! It's so nice to have other adults to talk to. =0) How did you start it up? Is it just people from your ward or did you stick up fliers or something? And Yikes about the scorpion!! That's crazy!
Your little boy sure is cute, I can't believe how much he looks like pictures of your dad in the old slides we'd always watch at Grandpa's house!
Sounds like a great week. I can't believe how big Scott is getting. I love the crib picture. Daerik does that too, he knows where we come in and waits for us there, so we can't just peak in or he'll see us and want to leave.
That's awesome about the baby group. It's nice to get to know others and for Scott to have friends his own age.
Heidi- I started the group on meetup.com. I would suggest it to anyone that wants to meet people in any genre, but they have a lot of parenting/play groups. You can just search by your area!
I heard about your AC, I am so sorry and hope that everything is taken care of! Your playgroup sounds like fun, it's always nice to talk to adults, especially mom's, who are doing the same things you're doing!
